Letný kurz plenérovej kresby v Strážkach
Come with us to an open-air tent under the Tatras!
Where else to draw inspiration and energy for drawing than in the Strážky mansion, where one of the most important Hungarian landscape painters, Ladislav Mednyánszky, lived? You will get to know different approaches to capturing the landscape through drawing, you will get to know the corners of the manor, the permanent exhibition of Mednyánszky's works right in the manor, and the surroundings appearing on the exhibited works.
Participation does not require any special skill in drawing. The four-day program is a combination of creative activities around the manor house and in the studio, educational activities in the exhibition and longer outdoor walks. We will camp directly in the English park near the mansion.
The course will be led by artist Slavomíra Ondrušová and SNG gallery teacher Peter Pivoda. The manor house offers social facilities, shelter in case of bad weather, space for locking things, access to wi-fi and the possibility to charge phones.
