Snow Film Fest is here again! This year, the thirteenth edition will bring the best world and Czech films with a winter outdoor theme.

We cordially invite you to the screening of the adventure films of the Snow Film Fest 2024. You can look forward to the expeditions of the Czech mountaineer Már Holeček, kayaking from 20-meter ice waterfalls, arctic adventures or a 600 km long traverse through Greenland. The festival will also present the film Simply Beautiful about climbing Nepal's Sura Peak, and Changabang: Return to the Shining Mountain, where three climbers attempt a legendary ascent. Next, the film To the mountains and back will be shown, which will focus on avalanche safety, and at the end, Janka will talk live about her experiences of climbing Ama Dambam (6812 m) in Nepal and Lenin Peak (7134 m) in Kyrgyzstan. It will be an evening full of adventure.

Two completely different mountains in two different countries, but they have one thing in common. Extremely high altitude. How do such expeditions take place? Which mountain was physically / mentally more demanding? How to deal with lack of oxygen? I climbed Ama Dablam in the spring of 2023 and returned from Lenin Peak a few weeks ago. Two successful ascents to the mountains, the peaks of which one must definitely deserve.
