Visit the unique gothic church with its beautiful wall decoration

Precious cultural and historical monument, Church of St. Giles is located on the Square of St. Giles in Poprad. The emergence of the church dates back to the second half of the 13th century. The church interior is decorated with an exceptional set of medieval paintings. Renaissance bell tower of the church was built in 1592. Near the church stand a sandstone pillar with a Baroque statue of the Immaculate from 1728. Day dedicated to St. Giles, the patron saint of hunters, forests and beggars is September 1.

Guided Tours – Views from the Church Tower of St. Egidius (Gilles). Nearly 40-meter tower of St. Egidius decorate the square in Poprad. With our guides you can reach a height of 26 meters and enjoy panoramic views from the tower. You can also order a tour for a class, group of tourists or retirees.
