Human Animal III. / Disappear insects! The works of 24 authors from 5 countries reflect the ambivalent relationship between humans and insects within psychological, mythological and environmental associations. The limits of surrealism / Emil Sedlák & Karol Baron. The exhibition interprets the works of artists from the gallery's collection, whose work follows surrealist tendencies. Winding roads / Slovak modern from a private collection. The exhibition presents works by 26 prominent names of Slovak modernism. The curatorial intention is to try to outline the development of modern art in Slovakia in the 1st half of the 20th century in the broadest geographical scope with representative works, but with a special emphasis on the works of the Generation of 1909 due to their number and quality in the private collection.
