The route starts at Námestie sv. Egídia square, from where it is necessary to get along the cycle route to the settlement JUH 3 (Nový Juh). The asphalt cycle path connects the square with Kvetnica. The route runs between the fields and has an ascending character. After reaching the goal of the ascent, there is a rest zone above the fields, from where we continue along the marked sidewalk to the right and thus bypass the entire Krížová massif. The cycle path leads along the menagerie, then descends to climb again to its top with beautiful views of the Low Tatras. The route has a circular character, but we recommend turning right at Kvetnica and crossing to Poprad by another cycle path around the flooded quarry. Benches and information boards are available at Kvetnica and at the quarry. Various hiking trails lead from the forest park to the top of Zámčisko 921 m. n. m. with beautiful views of the surrounding area (High Tatras, Slovak Paradise, Low Tatras). Another option is a walking tour to the Chapel of the Resurrection (Calvary), where there is an educational trail. You will fall in love with the cycling routes around Poprad.
