Extrémna Krížová Cesta Poprad
V roku 2025 sa EKC na Slovensku uskutoční už v 30 mestách, spolu na 32 trasách. V roku 2024 sa EKC konala až v 25 krajinách sveta, na 822 trasách a mala už viac ako 100 000 účastníkov. Extrémna Krížová Cesta v roku 2025 nesie motto od sv. Jána Pavla II.: “Od seba musíme vyžadovať." Rozjímania k jednotlivým zastaveniam krížovej cesty sú písané o živote tohto veľkého človeka: Ako sa z malého chlapca Karola stal veľký pápež.
REGISTRÁCIA začína už onedlho; na Popolcovú stredu.
Každá EKC začína svätou omšou, ktorá je obetovaná za účastníkov EKC. Na konci sv. omše dostanú účastníci požehnanie na cestu.
Trasou EKC putuješ počas celej noci, tmy a ticha a teda s určitou neistotou. Väčšinu trasy ideš po lese, mimo obývaného územia, prechádzaš každým zastavením krížovej cesty. V tichu a rozjímaní Bohu odovzdávaš všetky svoje starosti i všetky svoje prosby alebo len ďakuješ za všetku lásku, že sa za nás obetoval.
