Hoci sa Otto narodil a do 28 rokov žil na Morave, pôsobil aj v zahraničí a už ako mladý stál na jednom pódiu s menami ako Tina Turner, Phill Collins, či Rod Steward. napr. v Londýne ho prehovárali aj na spoluprácu manažéri Milli Vanilli, no napokon sa vďaka Vašej priazni stal „SLOVENSKÝM SPEVÁKOM“. S orchestrom Juraja Velčovského, absolvoval množstvo Európskych a Česko-Slovenských koncertov a televíznych relácií po boku Dušana Grúňa, Olinky Szabovej a Karola Duchoňa. Tu sa ukázalo, že nie len v rocku je Otto doma, ale že škola u profesora Bernarda Kočaře, kde vyštudoval Bell Canto, mu rozšírila jeho spevácke možnosti a tak dostal pozvanie od Ivana Krajíčka do preslávenej televíznej hudobno-speváckej súťažnej relácie- Repete.
Dodnes mu právom patrí Československý rekord v počte prijatých hlasovacích/korešpondenčných lístkov – 380.000ks !! Iba za jednu pieseň.
Otto nie je iba slovenský spevák. Je aj textár, skladateľ, dramaturg a režisér. Hoci sám mal niekoľko televíznych a rozhlasových relácií, napokon si založil vlastnú – OTTO WEITER SHOW, s ktorou precestoval mnoho miest a natočil stovky talk show a zábavných relácií pre rôzne televízie a rádiá od STV, cez Markízu, TV JOJ, bol spoluzakladateľom Tv Senzi, či Šlágr TV. Aj dnes nemá problém vypredať obrovské sály a čo je najkrajšie a najnetradičnejšie, na jeho koncertoch môžete vidieť VŠETKY VEKOVÉ KATEGÓRIE!
Otto v tomto roku oslavuje svoje životné jubileum – 70 rokov a zároveň 45 rokov profesionálnej kariéry na Slovensku - kdekoľvek sa objaví, rozdáva energiu, radosť, skvelú náladu a radosť zo života.
Spolu s Ottom Vám dobrú náladu a nezabudnuteľný zážitok vyčaria aj jeho hostia: Petra Weiter, Maja Velšicová, Soňa Kopčanová, Peter Tokoš, Jozef a Dodo Ivaška, alebo Marika Škultétyová.
