Pamätáš si legendárne hity, kultové filmy, seriály a veci, ktoré boli kedysi úplne bežné, no dnes by už asi poriadne neprešli?
We cordially invite you to a guided tour, a dernisage, of the author's exhibition entitled Paintings of Thoughts by the artist FRBU, who will present his works in the premises of the ART LASÁK GALLERY in Poprad on November 30th from 2-6 p.m., at nám.sv. Egídia 94.
The author of the paintings signed FRBA is František Balon. He is rightly called the "painter of thoughts". Perhaps he could be classified as a symbolist. His paintings are deliberately free from details and precision, one could say that they border on naivism. They also clearly have associations with ancient cave paintings. The creation of his canvases is a long process from an idea through numerous sketches (which include extensive text notes), then through color studies. He repeatedly returns to many themes.
The curator of the exhibition is Silvia Lasák, an artist and gallerist. She discovered his work at the international art fest in Prague. They say this about his work: "The works of the artist Frba make us stop in time. To reflect on life, the past, the present, but especially the future. In each work there is a certain message for society and the author himself wrote a thought for each work that is linked to it. It is up to us whether we let ourselves be drawn into the plot of the work, reflect and accept the message that the work presents to us. The author's technique, combination of colors and ideas is unmistakable and defines the author's signature, as well as his feelings and the love that he puts into each work."
Come and personally get to know the author, his works, their message and thus end his author's exhibition at the opening.
All his works are available for sale. We look forward to your visit.
