The column "Traveller's Periodical" presents various interesting countries and their inhabitants, as well as travelers and adventurers.
We invite you to visit exotic Zanzibar, an island that, with its turquoise sea and white beaches, is one of the most popular tourist paradises. The island, scented with vanilla, cloves and cinnamon, also has a dark past as a center for the slave trade. Together we will visit a rainforest, a small island where giant turtles live, or the historic city of Stone Town, the birthplace of Freddie Mercury. In Zanzibar, life is governed by the single motto Hakuna Matata. So throw away all your problems and welcome to Zanzibar friends!
Mgr. Jana Kušniráková, librarian of the Podtatranske Museum in Poprad and passionate traveler will accompany the visitors through Zanzibar.
The lecture from the cycle "Traveller's occasional" will take place in the lecture rooms of the Podtatranske Museum in Poprad, Vajanského 72/4.
Admission is voluntary.
