Slovak Balloon Cup
The Tatra foothills will host the largest ballooning event in Slovakia's history! Up to 40 hot air balloons from all around the world will take to the skies against the backdrop of the High Tatras.
Veľká Lomnica will host top pilots from 17 countries (including teams from Austria, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Switzerland, USA, Japan, Australia, and more) competing in an official international contest as part of their World Championship preparations.
Over the course of five days, 7 mass ascents are scheduled in the early morning and evening hours. Alongside competitive flights, fiesta balloons will also take off, offering passenger flight bookings for the public.
Main Event Program (Saturday, September 12):
- Tethered balloon rides & walk-in balloon
- Night glow (night balloon inflating show)
- Tatra cycling tour & drone light show
- Live music, gastro area, and family activities
