Gospel Concert Smaily Band: Close is The Lord
The gospel band Smaily cordially invites you to a presentation concert on the occasion of releasing their 10th anniversary CD titled "BLÍZKY JE PÁN - ŽALMY 2026" at the Church of St. John the Apostle and Evangelist in Poprad-Veľká.
The gospel band Smaily has been performing in Poprad for 25 years (since 2001) and has released 10 original albums to date. Their latest CD features a selection of the best psalms from the collection of Ján Karkoszka, who has long prepared psalms for youth and children's masses in the Poprad-Veľká parish. The album contains both original psalms by the band and Slovak adaptations of foreign songs.
Evening Program:
• 18:00 – Peter Janků (Christian singer-songwriter from Bratislava)
• 18:30 – Smaily
• 19:30 – Blessing of the new CD
• 19:45 – Move to Orlovňa (agape, CD signing, meet & greet)

• Ladislav Miko SDB (Salesian of Don Bosco in Poprad – banjo)
