Theater "Royal Classical Ballet" returns to Slovakia with the most famous Christmas ballet "The Nutcracker". And so all lovers of ballet, dance and classical music can once again look forward to their next unforgettable performance.

Due to the busy schedule of the European tour, however, they will play only 3 shows in Slovakia, similar to December 2023.

The Nutcracker by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky is the second most famous ballet in the world in terms of recognition and number of performances. It was first performed on December 18, 1892 at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg.

The story takes place on Christmas Eve in the house of doctor Stahlbaum with his wife and children, daughter Maria and son Franz. Maria's godfather, Drosselmeyer, brings her a gift, a soldier puppet named Nutcracker, about which he tells her a beautiful story.

The festive evening ends and the guests leave. Marie returns to the living room to take another look at the Nutcracker left under the Christmas tree and suddenly everything starts to change. The tree grows and with it the room turns into a huge hall. The toys as well as the Nutcracker come to life and mice appear in the room, led by the Mouse King. Against them stands the brave Nutcracker with a small army of Christmas toys. Marie will not leave her hero and help him.
