Keď zhasnú svetlá v starom divadle v Central Parku, všetky bábky skutočne ožijú. Medzi nimi je aj dobromyseľný rytier Don, ktorý je unavený
hrať stále dookola blázna. Sníva o tom, že sa stane skutočným hrdinom! Jedného dňa získa odvahu žiť vlastný život a vydá sa objavovať veľký svet.
V parku mu náhodou skríži cestu DJ Doggie Dog, opustený plyšový psík, ktorý sa chce stať raperskou hviezdou. Skutočnosť, že Doggie je tak trochu ustráchaný, ale to nemôže byť žiadnou prekážkou. V Donových očiach určite nie! Pretože každý môže premeniť svoje sny na skutočnosť, ak sa nevzdá.
A pred bránami parku čaká na dvoch čerstvých priateľov oveľa väčšie dobrodružstvo, než o akom kedy snívali!
