Beliansky express
The popular winter railway connection Poprad-Tatry - Muszyna is again in operation. Beliansky Express started on the track on December 31, 2022 and will run twice a day on weekends until February 26, 2023.
The train to Muszyna starts every Saturday and Sunday from the Poprad-Tatry station at 7:29 a.m. and 3:29 p.m., arriving at the destination station in Muszyna at 9:11 a.m. and 5:11 p.m. It departs in the opposite direction from Muszyna to Poprad at 10:00 a.m. and 5:56 p.m. The train also stops in Studený potok, Kežmarok, Spišská Belá, Podolínec, Stara Ľubovna and Plaveč.
It is an attractive connection of the Tatras with the spa town of Muszyna, where connecting trains to another Polish spa town, Krynica, are provided. Thanks to the Beliansky Express, Slovaks and Poles can also visit monuments in Kežmarok or Stará Ľubovňa.
Beliansky Express is operated by the Slovakian Railway Company in cooperation with the Polish carrier Koleje Malopolskie.
